The 2001 MDXA Drummond - Fire And Harbor Islands DXpedition
We rented a fantastic cabin!
In many ways the cabin was the best part of the Trip!.True,we had fun activating Drummond Island and almost lost our Lives on the High Sea's but the Cabin was a gem! This brand new $200,000 cabin had it all. 4 Bedrooms,Microwave,Jet tub,Twin porches,Sat TV with All the channels,Tripple head showers,Trash compactor,Doubble fridge with water and ice maker,Massive Moose head Stone fireplace and all for "Just" $1,400 a week!
We had at least 5 HF Rigs,Internet and GPS.We have pictures of the Inside of this our cabin on our DXpedition page.Very few Crews have lived in the comfort we did!

The 2001 MDXA Drummond - Fire And Harbor Islands DXpedition
We had planned a DXpedition to Drummond-Harbor and Fire Islands. The DXpedition began on Monday July 9th.We did activate Drummond Island but after 2 attempts to activate Harbor and Fire Islands,we gave up due to 5-8 foot waves.
On July 28th our Northern Crew Activated the Islands we missed,Fire and Harbor. Tim KC8BZE and his MDXA team had much better weather and bagged the other two islands!
