Twas an early Saturday morn around the AM of 5 (1920 UTC) as I took a leisurely stroll along the 20 metre high waterfall. Nothing much normally happens here before the rising of the sun here so I was surprised to see the flailing of swords in the distance.
I approached a warrior from North Carolina and before I could find out what was transpiring he demanded my name and province. After providing such details he informed me I had stumbled across a DEATH MATCH. As a stranger from another land, I was told of the handsome prize to be placed on my head in this death match. It was time to flee, as I turned left I was confronted by another knight of the NC. So I turned to the right only to discover AC4M, the winning wizard of Tennessee who had magical powers worth 5 points. I scurried for the safety of the eastern bank of the waterfall, but it was a trap. I was swarmed upon by swordsmen, scoundrels and soldiers from several states of the Union. After two hours the pile up eventually subsided and I slumped to my knees in exhaustion.
From the corner of my bloodied eye I caught glimpse of a dearly wanted prize. I summoned my final ounces of strength, pushed past his other pursuers and finally won the chance to trade blows with the very rare nobleman, Sir South Dakota.
The following morning, with the thirst for battle unquenched, I again took a weary walk toward the long path. Seeking battle was a more difficult prospect this second morn. At 630 in the AM (2100 UTC), the first silver swords were seen glistening in the blue waterfall. I stood forth again on the eastern bank and put out a series of battle cries. After a while a small hoard descended upon thee. This clash would only last one hour – the great golden orb in the sky then decreed that my time at the death match would come to an end. As I lay weary on the muddy bank of the waterfall battlefield, I recounted 64 clashes with 57 warriors. Mostly with the 31 inch sword, although some skirmishes then progressed to the 63 inch sabre. Each encounter was a pleasure and all fought with honour and I shall never forget them.
